Spartan boys host Thunder on 104.1 WRLU Monday

The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans will look to close out the 2024 year and holiday break with a win over the Seymour Thunder in non-conference boys’ basketball action.

 

The Spartans (2-5, 1-3 in the NEC) are coming off a 45-34 win over Green Bay Southwest  Saturday night at the Sandrop Classic in Green Bay. 

 

Seymour (6-2, 1-2 in Bay Conference) beat Brillion 67-43 Friday afternoon in the same holiday tournament.

Luxemburg-Casco is led by Josh Parins and Eli Derenne who are each averaging seven points per game, while JD Glampe and Bryce Piesler are chipping in six  points per contest.

 

Spartan Co-Coach Matt Piesler says the team is starting to come together during the holiday break.

 

 

Kyler Marks is averaging 20 points per game to lead Seymour. Three other players are scoring in double figures for the Thunder: Isaac Feske, 13, Jordan Krause, 12, and Teage Cornell, 11. 

 

The pregame is set for 7:00 p.m., with tip-off at 7:15 p.m. on 104.1 WRLU and streamed on NEW Radio Sports Network. Paul Schmitt and Eric Fischer will have the call from Luxemburg-Casco High School.
