Luxemburg-Casco cruised past their like-nicknamed counterparts Oshkosh North 3-0 to earn a home match against Green Bay Notre Dame Academy for the regional title.

 

Luxemburg-Casco won the battle of the Spartans by scores of 25-12, 25-13, 25-16. They were led by Alayna Deprez (26 assists, 12 digs), Aubrey Frey (14 kills, seven digs, four aces), Ella Vander Velden (6 kills, three aces), Campbell Onell (5 kills, three aces), and Rylan Kaminski (12 digs). 

 

Head coach Jeff Frey appreciated the focus and intensity his team played with on Thursday, but knows they can't sleep on Saturday's opponent. "We have a short turnaround against a good and well-coached Notre Dame team.  We will need to be at our best."

 

Saturday's match against the Tritons is scheduled for 7 p.m.
