The Luxemburg-Casco cross country team will head to UW-Green Bay's Shorewood Cross Country Course on Friday for the North Eastern Conference championships.

They will join Clintonville, Denmark, Fox Valley Lutheran, Freedom, Little Chute, Marinette, Oconto Falls, Waupaca, and Wrightstown for the meet, which begins with the Girls Varsity at 3:30 p.m., followed by the Boys Varsity (4:00 p.m.), Girls JV (4:30 p.m.), and Boys JV (5:00 p.m.). 

This will be the second time this season the Spartans have races on the course with the boys taking eighth and the girls finishing in 13th place in the 25+ team De Pere Invitational in early September. Marcis Doell (53rd, 18:37) and Claire DuChateau  (3rd, 20:22.2) paced the Spartans that day. The Spartans' strongest runner on the boys' side, Kyan Lynts, did not record a time.
