After a tough loss to Freedom earlier in the week, top-ranked Luxemburg-Casco topped #2 Fox Valley Lutheran in straight sets on the volleyball court Thursday.

The first set tested the Spartans, but they were eventually able to cruise 27-25, 25-14, 25-15. The Spartans were led by Alayna Deprez (35 assists and 15 digs), Aubrey Frey (15 kills, 15 digs, and two blocks), Ella Vander Velden (10 kills, seven digs, and five aces), Campbell Onell (9 kills, nine digs, and 3 blocks), and Rylan Kaminski (12 digs). 

Head coach Jeff Frey lauded his team's performance post-game against the strong side from Appleton. "We challenged the girls before the match to “Go get it tonight! " What a response and a huge bounce-back win after Tuesday night," said Frey. I thought we showed our resiliency tonight. I could not be more proud of the girls.
