In the annual Pink Out game to benefit cancer victims, the Luxemburg-Casco Spartans lost to Freedom in five sets in Luxemburg.
Freedom won three sets to two (20-25, 25-19, 19-25, 25-22, 15-11)
Alayna Deprez led the way for the Spartans with 41 assists, Ella VanderVelden had 15 kills, 11 digs, and six aces, and Claire Schleis tallied 12 kills and three aces.

Coach Jeff Frey shared his thoughts after the match, "All the credit goes to Sam and her team, they played with a lot of intensity and out worked us tonight. We have to continue to find a way to play better in the pressure moments. I have all the confidence in our team that we will learn from this and bounce back in a big way."
Luxemburg-Casco is now 18-7 overall and 5-1 in the NEC.
