The Luxemburg-Casco volleyball team overcame a stumble in the third set to defeat Wrightstown 3-1 Thursday night.

The Spartans won the match 25-12, 25-22, 20-25, 25-11 with Alayna Deprez (45 assists and 12 digs), Aubrey Frey (21 kills, 11 digs, and 2 aces), Ella Vander Velden (13 kills, 12 digs, and 3 aces), Lauren Lindsley (7 kills and 2 blocks), and Rylan Kaminski (13 digs and 2 aces) leading the way.

Head coach Jeff Frey loved how his team performed but was quick to compliment the Tigers for making the top-ranked Spartans work for their points. "It was a good match, a lot of credit goes to Kristine and her team," Frey said post-match. "We came out strong in set 1 and played really well.  Credit to them in sets 2 and 3 they responded and dug everything and made us work for every point.  I’m proud of how we finished the match off in set 4, another good conference win."
