The Luxemburg-Casco volleyball team was able to cruise past Marinette in straight sets Thursday night 3-0.

 

The Marines never made it past 15 points, being outscored by the Spartans 25-12, 25-4, 25-15.

 

Leading the way for the Spartans were Alayna Deprez (26 assists, 9 digs, 4 aces), Aubrey Frey (9 kills, 14 digs, 5 aces), Ella Vander Velden (7 kills), Claire Schleis (6 kills), Campbell Onell (6 kills), and Rylan Kaminski (9 digs and 6 assists).

 

Head coach Jeff Frey enjoyed the home atmosphere Thursday night, which doubled as a salute to the area's youth programs. "We challenged the girls to stay focused and engaged all night, and I thought we did a great job of that," Frey said post-match.
