Spartans tangle with Wrightstown Friday night on 104.1 WRLU

The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans (1-0, 1-2 overall) will host the Wrightstown Tigers (1-0, 3-0 overall) in a big North Eastern Conference Football game on Friday night.

The Spartans are coming off a 28-13 win over the Denmark Vikings on the road last week, while the undefeated Tigers blew out Sheboygan Falls 48-0 at home.

Running back Andrew Klass and quarterback Brayden Loritz combined for over 300 yards rushing and two touchdowns to lead the Spartans to their first win of the year.

The Tigers have rushed for 872 yards and 17 touchdowns in three games, held their opponents to just 14 points and have registered two shutouts defensively.

Last year, Luxemburg-Casco edged the Tigers 16-12 at Wrightstown in the regular season.

The pregame is set for 6:45 p.m. on 104.1 WRLU, and the kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Paul Schmitt and Eric Fischer will provide the play-by-play, which will also be streamed on New Radio Sports Network.
