Goalkeeper Quentin Massart kept Sheboygan South at bay for as long as he could in a 2-0 loss Thursday night.

Massart stopped nine of the 11 shots he faced in the road fixture. Marcos Velazquez finally broke through for the Redwings in the 67th minute with Alex Garcia following up with a tally six minutes later. The Spartans could not return the favor offensively, forcing Redwings netminder Hudson Toutenhoofd to make just one save.

L-C will be in action Tuesday hosting Waupaca for a North Eastern Conference game.
