The Luxemburg-Casco volleyball team got back on track Thursday night in conference play, sweeping Little Chute 3-0.

 

The Spartans never let the Mustangs get into the match's games, winning them 25-14, 25-13, 25-12.  Leading the way for the Spartans were Alayna Deprez (31 assists, 7 digs, 3 aces), Aubrey Frey (9 kills and 9 digs), Ella Vander Velden (9 kills and 5 digs), Claire Schleis (8 kills), and Rylan Kaminski (13 digs). 

 

Head coach Jeff Frey applauded his team's effort to get back into the win column on Thursday. "We did some good things tonight and took care of business.  We still have a ton of growing to do, and that’s the most exciting thing, as well as what we are focused on," Frey said post-match.

 

The Spartans return to tournament play on Saturday when they play against De Pere, Kewaskum, Kimberly, Lakeside Lutheran, Notre Dame Academy, Slinger, and West De Pere in Green Bay. The action begins at 9 a.m.
