Two local teams will head to Suamico on Saturday for one of the top early-season tournaments in the state.

Luxemburg-Casco and Southern Door will join Appleton North, Ashwaubenon, Bay Port, Beaver Dam, Brookfield East, De Pere, Denmark, East Troy, Elkhorn, Escanaba, Franklin, Germantown, Homestead, Kiel, Mishicot, Mukwonago, Oconomowoc, Oconto Falls, Oshkosh West, Pewaukee, Plymouth, Seymour, Shawano Community, Slinger, Wausau West, West Bend East, West Bend West, West De Pere, Winneconne, and Wrightstown for the annual Battle on the Bay. 

The Spartans are coming off a Thursday quad meet sweep over Fox Valley Lutheran, Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol, and Green Bay Preble on Thursday, while the Eagles lost four duals last week at home against Two Rivers and Denmark and two others at Stratford.
