The Luxemburg-Casco Spartan girls could not keep pace with the Pulaski Red Raiders Tuesday night, falling 53-39.
The Spartans hung close, trailing only 21-16 at halftime, but could not pull any closer as Pulaski prevailed in the non-conference matchup in Luxemburg.
Alana Mrotek and Alayna Deprez led the Spartans in scoring with eight points each, as Luxemburg-Casco falls to 0-2 overall and 0-1 in the NEC.
Maggie Lardinois had a huge game for Pulaski, with 23 points, and Olivia Sprangers added 15 more.
Luxemburg-Casco will now travel to Oconto Falls to take on the Panthers on Thursday night in a conference game slated to start at 7:00 p.m.
