Spartans battle Wrightstown for NEC title on 104.1 WRLU

It comes down to just one game.  The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans travel to Wrightstown Friday to take on the Tigers with the opportunity to win an outright North Eastern Conference football championship.

The Spartans (6-0, 7-1 overall) are coming off an impressive 35-21 road win over Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes last Friday to stay undefeated in the conference.   Wrightstown (5-1, 7-1 overall), trails Luxemburg-Casco by one game in the standings and rallied to defeat the Little Chute Mustangs 18-14 on the road to set up the title showdown.

Senior quarterback Max Ronsman leads the Spartans with 860 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns while tossing seven passes for scores.

Running back Aiden Humphreys leads a potent rushing attack for the Tigers with 878 yards rushing and eight touchdowns.

The pregame is set for 6:45 p.m. on 104.1 WRLU and the kick-off is set for 7 p.m. from Wrightstown.  Paul Schmitt and Henry Annen will have the play-by-play of the game which will also be streamed on New Radio Sports Network.
