The Luxemburg-Casco golf team is one round away from participating in the WIAA State Meet.

The Spartans shot a 460 on a dreary day in Luxemburg last week to qualify as a team, finishing 94 strokes behind regional champion Notre Dame Academy and 23 strokes behind second-place Fox Valley Lutheran. Morgan DeJardin shot a team-best 106 with Bowie Bredael right behind her with a 108. The scores put DeJardin and Bredael in the top 10 overall in the regional. Katie Ledvina (122), Reese Bandow (124), and Marissa Annoye (141) will also play in the sectional meet. 

The Notre Dame Sectional at Thornberry Creek is set to begin at 9 a.m. Bonduel, Denmark, Fox Valley Lutheran, Kettle Moraine Lutheran, Little Chute, Marinette, N.E.W. Lutheran, Notre Dame Academy, Oconto, Oconto Falls, Saint Thomas More, Seymour, Winneconne, Wrightstown, and Xavier are all a part of the sectional.
