Spartans top Wrightstown in NEC soccer

The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans scored the final two goals and came away with a 3-1 win over the Wrightstown Tigers Tuesday night in North Eastern Conference soccer.

 

The Spartans scored first at the four-minute mark on a goal by Zak Patek with an assist from Johan Amador.

Wrightstown tied the game at the 13-minute mark on a goal by Abraham Garcia-Castro.

 

Right before halftime, Patek scored his second goal on a penalty kick at the 44-minute mark to give the Spartans a 2-1 lead.

 

In the second half, Luxemburg-Casco closed out the scoring with goal by Amador.

Goalkeeper Quentin Massart had six saves in the net for the Spartans who will face Sheboygan North on Thursday in non-conference action.
