Leading the way for the Hawks was Cody Wertman's brace with single tallies registered by Max Mirhashemi and Noah Arndt. Quentin Massart still had a lot of saves despite the four goals allowed, stopping 12 other shots.

It continued a hot streak for the Hawks to start the season, who have outscored their opponents 18-2 in their last three matches.

The Spartans hit the pitch next on Tuesday when they face Wrightstown.
