The Spartans of Luxemburg-Casco have dominated the softball season so far this season, and will welcome in Marinette on Thursday. 

Luxemburg-Casco defeated Wrightstown in the first game 10-0 on Tuesday as Savannah Jandrin and Erin Cherovsky combined to throw a shutout in the first game of their double header. In the nightcap the Spartans snagged a late lead and defeated the Tigers 8-3.  L-C was down 2-1 until the bottom of the fifth, when they capitalized on two errors, two hits and two Wrightstown errors to score four runs.

Marinette will enter the game with the Spartans at 6-3 overall and 6-2 in the NEC. The last time the Marines took the field was facing off with Denmark, losing 5-2. Marinette began the season strong, starting out 4-0, and have gone 2-3 since in the past five games. 

L-C and Marinette will begin at 4:30 p.m.
