Spartans girls soccer gears up for NEC test

After starting their season off 0-2, the Luxemburg-Casco Spartans girls soccer team have not put another loss on their record since then, and will look to keep that true when they face Denmark at home Thursday night.

The Spartans tied Ripon on Tuesday afternoon with a score of 0-0, moving their record to 2-2-1 on the season and have had three positive outcomes in a row after that slow start to their season. Tabi Lemons had a quiet night in the goal for the Spartans as she only had two saves on the night. Last season's matchup between these two teams saw Denmark pull out a 1-0 win.

Denmark picked up their first win of the season against Shawano 5-1 on Saturday, which pushed their record to 1-2 so far. The Vikings were 7-7 in the 2022 campaign.

The match is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
