Luxemburg-Casco Spartan defeated the Waupaca Comets by a score of 14 to 2 on Tuesday.  The Spartans jumped out to an early lead scoring seven runs off of four hits in the first inning.  The inning was highlighted by Josie Dorner's three-run homerun.  Waupaca answered in the bottom of the second inning scoring one run.  L-C countered with three more runs in the third on base hits by Maggie Hanmann, Anna Vandermause, Payton Kaminski, and Kylie Hanson.  The Comets struck again in the fourth inning scoring their second and final run of the game before the Spartans scored one more in the fifth and three more in the sixth.  

 

Savannah Jandrin picked up the win for L-C, while Josie Peterson took the loss for Waupaca.
