The Luxemburg-Casco softball team will hit the diamond on Tuesday afternoon when they take on Waupaca on the road. 

For the Spartans, they took a big time game against Freedom in the first game of their doubleheader, winning 1-0 then dropping the second 3-2. After blowing out teams ahead of that game, L-C has proven themselves early in the season that they are a contender for the NEC and to improve on the record from the 2022 campaign. 

Waupaca is coming off a blowout doubleheader of the Clintonville Truckers by two scores of 18-3. The Comets are 4-4 overall this season after playing a few games at the Hodag Dome early in the season, prompting them to get in a few more games than other local teams. 

First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m.
