UPDATED: The matchup between the L-C's has been postponed to a later date. 

 

The Luxemburg-Casco baseball team hope to kick off the week against their alphabetical counterparts in Little Chute Monday afternoon.

 

The Spartans were shutout Thursday by Freedom in a rematch of Tuesday's contest. This time the Irish came out on top of the Spartans 4-0. Freedom started Trenton Feucht on the mound and he was affective. Trenton struck out 17 Spartan batters and giving up 2 hits in 6 1/3 innings. Drew Bandow started for the Spartans and took the lost in 4 innings. 

 

The other LC has two wins to their ledger, including a 3-0 win against Oconto Falls.

 

If weather allows, the game in Little Chute will begin at 4:30 p.m.
