Luxemburg-Casco defeated Little Chute in five innings by a score of 10-0 in their season opener.

 

Erin Chervosky & Savannah Jandrin shared time on the mound, giving up one hit apiece while striking out 2 and 3 respectively.   After two outs in the first inning, the Spartans scored six runs on hits by Kylie Hanson, Erin Cherovsky (double), and Maggie Hanmann.  The Spartans added two more runs in the third on another double by Cherovsky, a sacrifice fly by Kate Van Ess, a single by Anna Vandermause, and a double by Grace Kahr.  LC added one more run in the fourth and then ended the game in the fifth on a Payton Kaminski single which scored the final run of the game. 

 

Savannah Jandrin recorded the win for the Spartans while Annika Ruel took the loss for the Mustangs.  Abby Robbins and Hilary Hietpas had the only hits for Little Chute.
