L-C boys take their crack at Denmark

The Luxemburg-Casco boys' basketball team looks to make it three wins in a row when they travel to Denmark for a conference matchup.

On Tuesday night, the Spartans hung on to defeat the Wrightstown Tigers in a North Eastern Conference 54-49. Chase Bukouricz led the way for the Spartans with 17 points, hitting five big free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.  Jack Rollin added 15 points, a great floor game, and steadied L-C when they needed it.

The Vikings are adjusting to life without Donavan Short with a 2-3 record. They had a two-game winning streak snapped with a 45-41 loss to Little Chute. Lucas Miller and Jack Dewar are tied for the team lead, scoring 10.8 points per game. Miller is also among the team leaders in rebounding and assists.

Game time is set for 7 p.m.
