Spartans Girls Basketball sees season approaching

The Spartans girls basketball team may have lost their two leading scorers from last season, but some depth from last season's team could make Luxemburg-Casco successful again this year.

Replacing Taylor Thiry and Lauren Adams will be difficult for the Spartans to do, but they can do it with multiple players, and not just plugging in one player for another. 14 players for LC scored a basket in game action, which shows the depth that this team could carry over to this season as well. A year of practice and growth for those players will only help Luxemburg Casco’s case.

For the Spartans, it starts with some underclassmen potentially in Magdeline Hanmann and Gabrielle Wech to have some solid seasons, and have their teammates be solid beside them. It will be a team effort, but L-C could find themselves with another good season in the books.

The Spartans begin their season in Algoma against the Wolves on Thursday November 17th. They open NEC play against Oconto Falls on the 29th.
