The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans hope to have history repeat itself Friday night as they host the Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes in a WIAA Level One Division 3 playoff game. 

The Spartans (3-4, 5-4 overall) are coming off a loss in their finale against Wrightstown last Friday but defeated the Foxes 16-14 two weeks ago in an NEC game.

Both teams come in with identical records, and Coach Neil Seering expects a close matchup and another tough game.

Fox Valley Lutheran is led by running back Jack Egan, who has 533 yards rushing, and the wide-out tandem of Owen Gerhardt and Benett Reader, who have 846 yards receiving yards collectively. 

Ryan Routhieaux leads the Spartans with 586 yards receiving as Luxemburg-Casco looks to make it two wins in the past three weeks against the Foxes.

The game's broadcast on 96.7 WBDK will start at 6:45 with the pregame and kick off at 7 pm from Luxemburg.  The game will also be steamed on NewRadioSportsNetwork.com with Paul Schmitt and Reece Robillard on the call.
