The Luxemburg Casco Spartans cross country team will travel to Brillion for a division 2 sectionals meet on Saturday. 

The Spartans overall have had a successful season, but have been lead by the boys team. Spencer Thiry and Gabe Havel have shined for the Spartans, who have 10 runners who are running at 20 minutes or under. A 21 person boys team looks destined to at least be a state trip contender. 

The girls team has been solid as well, with that team being lead by Madilyn Bevins and McKenna Rank. The numbers are there for them as well, as they have 24 girls who have been clocked in so far this season. 

The meet will be one step closer to a state trip for the Spartans.
