Spartans boys finish second in NEC cross country meet

The Luxemburg-Casco cross country teams finished in the top half of their divisions on Saturday during the North Eastern Conference championships hosted by Marinette on Saturday.

 

McKenna Rank led the way for the girls' team with a 21:26 5K finish for 10th place overall. Madi Bevins was four seconds behind her as the Spartans finished in fourth place with 88 points, twice as many as first-place Freedom.

 

The boys' team took second place with 58 points, nine points behind first-place Little Chute. Spencer Thiry paced the boys with a 17:49 5K finish to finish in 5th place. Kyan Lynts and Hudson Thiry also finished in the Top 10.
