Luxemburg-Casco volleyball knows you cannot win three state titles in a row without winning your first playoff match.

 

The quest to win a three-peat at the Resch Center begins with an opening-round match on Tuesday against Green Bay West.

 

The Spartans swept their own tournament with wins over Green Bay Preble, Wisconsin Lutheran twice, Bay Port, Valders, and Appleton East. Boasting a 35-8 record, the Spartans have not lost since they lost to Divine Savior Holy Angels, Kimberly, and Kettle Moraine during the Charger Invite over a month ago.

 

The Wildcats are winless in 21 matches, winning only two sets this season. They went 0-2 at the Bay Conference Tournament, losing to Xavier and Menasha.

 

The first serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
