Spartans boys captures Valders XC crown

 The Luxemburg-Casco cross country teams continue to pick up hardware at invitationals this season.

 

The Spartans varsity boys took first place while its JV squad took fourth at Thursday's Bob Burzynski Invite in Valders.  Gabe Havel took fourth overall with a time of 17:50 to lead the Spartans, which won with an overall score of 52 points. Second place Brillion registered 86 points.

On the girls' side, the varsity squad took 3rd place while the JV team took second. Madilyn Bevins also took fourth place in the 5K race, running a time of 21:56. THe Spartans scored 73 points to finish behind first place Valders and second place Plymouth.
