The Luxemburg-Casco volleyball started their Northeastern Conference title defense with a three-set victory over Denmark on Thursday.

The Spartans took the match by a 25-15, 25-4, 25-7 score. Head coach Jeff Frey said afterward that "tonight was a good way to start the conference season.  After a slow start, I thought we controlled the match.  We put a lot of pressure on them from the service line."

Leading the way for the Spartans were Alayna Deprez (12 assists and 3 aces), Josie Dorner (8 assists), Autumn Flynn (8 Kills and 4 blocks), Campbell Onell (7 Kills), and Brooke VandeHei (9 digs and 7 aces).

The Spartans are back in action Saturday at the 2022 Tom Larsen Triton Classic Volleyball Tournament hosted by Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay.
