Luxemburg-Casco’s senior wide receiver Ryan Routhieaux is getting pre-season recognition off the football field as the Spartans prepare for the 2022 campaign this fall.  Ranked 13th of the top 50 players to watch in the state this year, Routhieaux was the main wideout target for the Spartans last year snagging 35 receptions with 559 yards and six touchdowns.   He was also named First-Team All-Conference in the NEC.

The Al Toon Award is presented annually to the state’s top senior wide receiver or tight end as part of the WSN Senior Football Awards.

Routhieaux and the Spartans will travel to Waupaca Friday night to open the season against the Comets.  The game will be broadcast on 104.1 WRLU and New Radio Sports Network.
