Spartans boys meet rival Denmark for road contest

The Luxemburg-Casco boys' basketball hopes to get back into the win column on Tuesday night when they meet Denmark on the road.

The Spartans could not overcome a fierce Freedom Irish squad on Thursday night and fell 60-42 in a North Eastern Conference game in Luxemburg. Peyton Mrotek continues to be a three-tool player leading the team in points and assists and a runner-up in the rebounding category behind Lucas Cannon. The Vikings hold a 5-1 NEC mark after blowing out Wrightstown in the second half to win their last game 82-42. The Vikings are led by Green Bay recruit Donavan Short who is averaging over 22 points a game and nine rebounds a game.
