Spartans to face Phantoms at Kress Center as part of Sundrop Shootout

The Luxemburg-Casco boys basketball team will be heading to the Kress Center on the campus of UW-Green Bay to play the West De Pere Phantoms as part of the Sundrop Shootout on Tuesday December 28th.

 

The Spartans have won back to back games including a high scoring shootout against Kewaunee by a score of 81-72. Thus far the Spartans have been using a balanced offensive strategy to propel them to victory and are being led by Peyton Mrotek who is averaging 20 points per game, and Jack Rollin who is averaging 10 points per game. 

 

The Phantoms have had success in the early part of their season as well winning 6 of their first 8 games. West De Pere has also been in some shootouts of their own, including their last matchup with Plymouth where they posted 100 points in a 29 point victory. The Phantoms have 4 players averaging double digit points per game. Nate Heikkila is averaging 18 points per game, Ethan Heck is averaging 12 points per game, Kaden Hannula is averaging 11 points per game, and Danny Campbell is averaging 10 points per game. 

 

Tip is set for 8 PM from the Kress Center in Green Bay.
