The Luxemburg Casco Spartans boys’ soccer scored the first goal Tuesday night, but could not hang on for a victory as the Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes prevailed 3-1 in North Eastern Conference action.

The Spartans scored at the twelve-minute mark on a John Amador goal, only to see the Foxes respond with a goal from Blake Maxwell to tie the match at 1-1.

The Foxes would add two more goals, one each by Austin Kerbs and Jona Schmitz to pull away late for the victory.  Matthew Ledvina had nine save in the net for the Spartans as Nathan Hempel for the Foxes only had to provide one save during the match.
