The Luxemburg-Casco cross country teams will face some familiar competition on Friday when they run at Chilton.

The Spartans have encountered some of the teams in the field, which include Cedar Grove-Belgium, Chilton, Denmark, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Hilbert, Southern Door, and Wrightstown, in previous races.

Both the boys and the girls finished just below the top half of the field at the De Pere Invitational. Spencer Thiry and Megan Vandermause posted the fastest times on the 5K course for the Spartans.

The gun fires for the first race at 4 p.m.
