Luxemburg-Casco High School

Track coach thankful for opportunities

Given what the last 16 months have offered, Luxemburg-Casco track coach Neil Seering is happy for any chance his kids get to compete.

Last year was wiped out due to COVID-19 and this season has had its own issue. Between a late start and quarantine issues, Seering suggests his team is about two weeks behind where they usually are at this point of the season. He says he has also tried to be sensitive to the schedules of his student-athletes and their families and the workload they have taken on.

Seering is thrilled to see the kids be able to compete this year, albeit not as frequently as he would have hoped.

The Spartans track teams head to Green Bay West to face Menasha, Kewaunee, and Sevastopol beginning at 4 p.m. Thursday. You can listen to the rest of our conversation with Seering on our podcast page.
