After a week of postponements and cancellations, sports are back on at Luxemburg-Casco.
Following the decision by the Luxemburg-Casco School Board last Wednesday to drop masking and quarantine protocols related to COVID-19, opponents of the Spartans expressed uneasiness playing them in competition. Not having quarantine standards was in violation of WIAA guidelines, a point that was brought up during Monday's special board meeting that eventually led to the school board reversing its decision. After Monday's 7-0 vote by the school board, the Spartans' social media accounts expressed their excitement and approval.
