The Luxemburg-Casco girls pulled out a big win on the road by defeating the Seymour Thunder 71-63 on Tuesday. The Spartans turned a 33-33 tie at halftime into a comfortable eight-point win margin for the win by outscoring the Thunder 38-30 in the second half. Lauren Adams led the way for the Spartans scoring 28 points by hitting six three-pointers. Complementing Adams’ outside shooting was Taylor Thiry who scored 23 points with most of those coming in the paint. The Spartans also shot a respectable 70 percent from the charity stripe by going 14 out of 20.
