The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans girls' basketball led by one at the half and clamped down on defense to beat Little Chute 45-27 Saturday.

The Spartans led 23-22 at the half and only allowed five points the rest of the way to break their losing streak. Taylor Thiry paced the Spartans with 23 points while Lauren Adams pitched in another eight points. Morgan Trzebiatowski scored 11 points in the loss for the Mustangs.
