The Luxemburg-Casco girls basketball team heads north Friday night to take on the Marinette Marines.

The Spartans are looking to break a two-game losing streak after falling to Freedom earlier this week on WBDK 74-29. Taylor Thiry and Lauren Adams were the only players to score more than two points in the contest. The loss took away from a great start to the season that saw the Spartans win five of their first seven games.

The Marines come into the game 0-9 on the season including a 53-23 loss to Clintonville earlier this week. Samantha Pieper leads the Marine offense with 9.8 points per game, but the team as a whole has failed to crack the 30 point mark five times this season.
