The Luxemburg-Casco wrestling program defeated the Marinette Marines on Tuesday evening, 59-13. LC came into the dual 1-0 in conference after a win over Denmark last Tuesday. The dual featured a battle between an array of weight classes throughout the night including the 138 weight class battle that showcased a last second takedown win by the Spartans Luke Schefchik. The 152 weight class featured a blood battle with LC’s Hunter Joniaux and the Marines Josh Walker, the match resulted in a Walker major decision. The Spartans Issac Blohowiak pinned Marinette’s Johnny Bieber within moments of the first whistle. Luxemburg-Casco freshman Marissa Enderby captured a decision over Shayla Diaz of Marinette after a grueling match. LC moved to 2-0 in conference and will head to Coleman High School next Tuesday evening for a 6pm varsity start time.
