The Luxemburg-Casco girls basketball team lived up to both of their hashtags on Friday, putting the pieces together while capping off toughness week with a 50-48 win over Fox Valley Lutheran.

The Spartans took a 31-24 advantage into the break behind some strong offensive play from Lauren Adams and Taylor Thiry. The second half saw the Foxes whittle away at the lead while the Spartans struggled from the line. The Spartans were 4-12 shooting from the free-throw line in the second half and 11-21 overall on the evening. The Spartans were able to turn away the Foxes in their final offensive possessions.

Adams exploded for 24 points thanks to five three-pointers while Thiry chipped in 11 points. Lydia Feidt tried matching Adams behind the arc, hitting three three-pointers en route to an 11 point night. Emily Jaenke led all Foxes with 14 points.
