The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans girls’ basketball squad fell short to the Waupaca Comets on Tuesday night, 51-49. The Spartans tipped-off the game with a slow start in the first half as they reached 16 points to Waupaca’s 21 points. Taylor Thiry generated some help for the Spartans to gain some second half momentum but the 33 point second half would have LC fall just short to the Comets. LC falls to 2-2 overall and heads to Fox Valley Lutheran on Friday night for a 7pm showdown.
