The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans wrestling team started wrestling season in winning fashion over  the Denmark Vikings on Tuesday night, 52-25.

Spartan senior Issac Blohowiak gathered a win to put LC ahead of the Vikings, 12-6. Reece Piontek and Jonah Goetsch of Denmark collected back-to-back pins in the 170 weight class and 182 weight class to make it 18-16. Denmark found another match victory in the 195 weight class to extend their lead, 22-16. Travis DeGrave of the Spartans collected a win off a forfeit in the 285 weight class making it 28-22. After consecutive match wins, Luxemburg-Casco regained the lead and kept their winning momentum for a dual victory.
