The Luxemburg-Casco girls' basketball team looks to extend their winning streak to three games when it travels to Waupaca on Tuesday night.

Since its opening night lost, the Spartans' defense has clamped down on its opponents, allowing just 15 points to Marinette and 25 points to Denmark in their two wins. Taylor Thiry has been a leader in almost all things offensive, leading the team in points (19.3 ppg), rebounds (13.3 rpg), and is second on the team in assists (1.3 apg).

The Comets come into the matchup 1-1 on the year after an offensive explosion in the second half against Clintonville gave them the 56-46 victory. They also have it a do-it-all player in Finley Charapata, who leads the team in points (15 ppg), rebounds (12.5 rpg), and tied for the lead in assists (1.5 apg).
