The Luxemburg-Casco girls’ basketball team tipped-off senior night in winning fashion over the Denmark Vikings, 54-25. 

Seniors included forward Julia Hanmann, point guard Lidia Stahl, point guard Alex Welch and guard Kylie Rabas.

The game's first five points came from the Spartans Taylor Thiry. The Spartans jump-started the first half with stellar play on both sides of the ball that generated a 29-12 halftime lead. Thiry ended the game with 24 points while Denmark's top-scorer tallied six points. Spartan senior Lidia Stahl gathered five points in the second half to extend the lead while senior Kylie Rabas nailed a basket to end the game. LC’s head coach Taylor Schmidt improved her team to 2-1 in conference and travel to Waupaca next Tuesday.
