Spartans dominate Fox Valley Lutheran 56-21 on WBDK

The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans blew out the Fox Valley Lutheran Foxes Friday night 56-21 in a Northeastern Conference football game. The Spartans (3-2, 7-2 overall) scored on their first eight possessions in a dominating performance. The Spartans scored 27 points in the first quarter and never looked back. Fox Valley Lutheran fumble on their first possession and the Spartans capitalized. Issac VandenBush scored on five rushing touchdowns and Owen Deprez threw for two scores as the Spartans were never seriously challenged after the incredibly strong start. Freshman quarterback Max Ronsman capped off the scoring for the Spartans with an 18-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Luxemburg-Casco has now won four games in-a-row since losing to Wrightstown in week two. The Spartans received a #3 seed in the WIAA pairings and will now travel to Plymouth to take on the #2 Panthers next Friday. Matt Piesler and Paul Schmitt will have the call starting at 6:30 p.m. with the pregame show and kick-off set for 7 pm on 96.7FM WBDK.
