The Luxemburg-Casco cross country team will have one last tune-up before they host sub-sectionals on October 20th.

The conference meet will feature Clintonville, Denmark, Fox Valley Lutheran, Freedom, Little Chute
Marinette, Oconto Falls, Waupaca, and Wrightstown with the varsity boys running at 4 pm and the tentative start to girls' race scheduled for 4:40 pm at Winagamie Golf Course in Neenah. Head coach Katie Waege told NRSN last week about the strategy their runners have been taking in this unique season where they have run against many of the same kids due to COVID-19 restricting their regular season to conference meets only.

Waege says times are hard to gauge in cross country due to the differences they experience on courses. Spencer Thiry (18:34) and Megan Vandermaus (21:52) posted the fastest 5K times on the boys and girls' teams respectively at their last meet held at Northbrook Country Club in Luxemburg.
