The Luxemburg-Casco cross country team is back at it on Friday at Northbrook Golf Course. The Spartans were impressive in last weeks’ meet when they finished in second place in both the boys’ and girls’ competitions. The girls came up just short as they finished with a team score of 29 while Little Chute finished with a 26. Clintonville didn’t have enough runners to qualify as a team. L-C was paced by Megan Vandermause who took third with a time of 20:54. The remaining scorers all finished in the top 9. As for the boys, they finished with a score of 51, only trailing Little Chutes’ 21. Clintonville took third with a score of 91. The Spartan boys were led by Spencer Thiry who finished in third with a time of 17:48. The remaining scorers all finished in the top 15. Luxemburg-Casco will be competing against Denmark, Freedom, Marinette, and Oconto Falls.

The meet is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m.
