The Spartans were in action Saturday in a Varsity only double header involving three teams. Game 1 was all pitching and defense and concluded on a walk off in extras to come up just short 3-2 to Ashwaubenon. The Spartans rallied in game two and took an early lead on Waupaca 2-0. The game was tied up in the middle frames and some big two out hitting allowed the Spartans to regain the lead again and hold it for the 4-2 victory.
